Any denture, whether it is a partial or full, will always not feel like you expected. There are two types of partial and full dentures. You have immediate partial and full dentures and you have the permanent type. Immediate partials and full dentures are the ones you get following any kind of extractions you may get. These dentures will not be satisfactory in terms of fit and esthetics. The reason is because they are temporary. Their purpose is to cover the extraction site to allow you gums to heal properly while giving you something to have in your mouth. The nature of the bone being so big at first, will cause these dentures to look bully in some case and may look a little funky sometimes in order to achieve functionality. As you heal, your bone shrinks, causing denture wearers to turn to products like fixadent. The denture will feel loose for most people and will not be as comfortable as you may imagine.
